Summer Camp

5 day summer camp in the mountains of Santiago, Nuevo Leon with all day courses and activities in contact with nature, in a safe and private place. 

Far from the Internet and virtual world, participants will learn to live responsibly with nature.


For boys from 11 to 16 years old, from monday thru friday. NO internet, NO Cell signal, NO video games

Season

Begin March 21st and it approximately ends on September 15th, depending on the rains and hurricanes. It can be suspended at any time according to river level. The river safety level is monitored daily by inhabitants of Potrero Redondo, Las Adjuntas and the State authorities.

Difficulty

Beginners: this trip is for personas without any experience in outdoor activities, camping or mountaneering. The route involves walking in paths, between stones but ther is no use of your hands on this walks. Low phisical condition is required and is a requirement not to have overweight.

  • 5 pairs of socks and 5 underwear
  • 5 t-shirts
  • 2 pants 
  • 2 shorts
  • 1 net bag for the dirty clothes
  • 1 sweatshirt for cool nights and mornings
  •  1 pijama
  •  1 rain jacket – Important!
  •  1 swiming suit
  •  2 pairs of tennis shoes 
  •  1 canteen (opcional)
  •  Small backpack (to carry water and snacks)
  • 1 pair of flip flops and / or Crocs (for water sports and bathing) 
  • 1 towel
  • Sun Block – Importante!
  • Cap
  • Sleeping bag
  • Grooming kit: soap, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste, comb or brush
  • Water proof flash light and batteries – Importante!
  • Mosquito repellent
  • A fitted sheet to put on the mattress (the sleeping bag goes over this sheet) 
  • 1 pillow (optional)
  • Money for snacks or unexpected (optional)
  • Cell phone to call Tuesday in the activity of the Flag route. The rest of the time there is no cell signal or internet available. We have access to watch the games world by SKY
